Meet the guest speakers

At the Graduation Ceremony, you will hear inspiring thoughts and sharing from our prestigious guest speakers who are successful diplomats and alumni. 

HE Mr Andrew Goledzinowski will speak at Session 5 - on the morning of Friday, 21 April 2023.

Mr Goledzinowski is a senior career diplomat and was most recently First Assistant Secretary, Southeast Asia Regional Division. He has previously served overseas as Australia’s High Commissioner to Malaysia (2018-2021); Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, New York (2008-2011); Deputy Head of Mission, United Nations Permanent Mission, Geneva (1998-2000). He also worked as Head of World Bank Office, Baghdad (2004); Senior Official, Coalition Provisional Authority United States Department of Defence, Baghdad (2003-2004); and Chief of Staff, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Geneva (2000-2002).

In Canberra he served with DFAT as Ambassador for People Smuggling and Human Trafficking (2014-2017); Assistant Secretary, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Central Asia Branch (2012-2014); Assistant Secretary, Pacific Regional and New Zealand Branch (2011-2012); Assistant Secretary, International Organisations Branch (2007-2008); Senior Adviser, Foreign Minister’s Office (2006-2007); Assistant Secretary, Counter Terrorism Branch (2004-2006).

Mr Goledzinowski holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Jurisprudence from the University of New South Wales.

Ms Sarah Hooper will speak at Session 3 - on the morning of Tuesday, 18 April 2023.

Ms Sarah Hooper is a senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and most recently led DFAT’s Western Australia State Office.

Sarah has lived and served overseas in India, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore and in the USA. She has worked for the Australian Government in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and in the (then) Office of National Assessments with a focus on Australia's regional relationships, including Indonesia, Timor Leste and Solomon Islands. Sarah has also worked for state government in Western Australia, focused on public sector reform and change management issues, and for the not-for-profit think tank, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.

Sarah holds an Executive Master of Public Administration from the Australia New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) and the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Arts (Asian Studies) from the Australian National University.

Ms Mai Nguyen will speak at Session 1 - on the morning of Monday, 17 April 2023.

Ms Mai Nguyen, a graduate of Bachelor of Commerce (2011) started her journey as an entrepreneur in an unexpected way.  

In 2008, for one of her assignments at RMIT University, she came up with the business idea of an entertainment centre for kids in Vietnam. After nine months of market research and preparation, Ms Mai Nguyen and Mr Thomas Ngo co-founded Vietnam’s first-ever edutainment centre concept for kids called tiNiWorld, under N Kid Group. Nowadays, tiNiWorld has grown to a network of over 50 locations nationwide, serving approximately 10 million customers annually, and continues its mission of bringing a perfect childhood to Vietnamese children. Meanwhile, N Kid Group has expanded its distribution networks to over 2000 outlets nationwide, representing a wide range of international toy brands such as Hasbro, Disney, and more.

Ms Mai Nguyen is a member of RMIT Alumni Advisory Board.

Dr Kha Dinh will speak at Session 4 - on the afternoon of Tuesday, 18 April 2023.

Dr Dinh Mong Kha Dinh is a highly accomplished CEO and strategic advisor with over nine years of experience in coordinating and advising businesses and community projects in Vietnam. As the CEO of VietGuys J.S.C - a leading Japanese company in Vietnam that provides mobile marketing solutions for more than 5000 international and domestic brands including Shopee, Grab, Nutifood, Pharmacity, CellphoneS, LG, Samsung, and more... and take the role of a board member at PangoCDP and An Sinh Nhan Nghia Investment J.S.C, she has played a critical role in the business strategic direction of these enterprises.

Mong Kha Dinh holds a Bachelor's degree from RMIT University and a Master's and Doctor degree from European University in Switzerland. As a strategic advisor, she has taken on an important role in numerous professional projects, leveraging his extensive experience to provide valuable insights and guidance.

In addition to his professional endeavours, she also participates in the Appraisal Council of the Master/PhD Program of the Faculty of Business Administration at Ton Duc Thang University and teaches at PACE Business School, VietnamMarcom School of Marketing Training, University of Financial Economics, Open University of HCMC. She is committed to driving positive change and is passionate about contributing to the development of businesses and communities in Vietnam and beyond.
