Emerging Leaders Project 2023 – Hanoi campus

Event overview

Created in 2016, Emerging Leaders Project (ELP) is a leadership community project designed for first and second-year students, in collaboration with experts in the fields and NGOs. It is a free and valuable opportunity for aspiring student leaders to acquire and develop purposeful and valuable leadership skills, connect with other talented students, receive mentorship from experts, while also making significant social and sustainable impact.

 A big congratulations to the three winning teams 

🏅 Champion Leaders Award: Team Dynamic Duo – Anh Vu, Minh Tran, Chi Dang 

🏅 People’s Choice Award: Team EBAL – Nga Bui, Linh Do, Trang Dao, Trang Vu 

🏅 Runner-up of Champion Leaders Award: Team Frontier Force – Nguyen Nguyen, Huong Nguyen, Anh Pham 

Within the next two months, funding will be provided to implement projects from three winning teams. Impact summaries from these projects will be posted on our university's Sustainability webpage.

We appreciate all of the Organising team members, the judges, guest speakers, local partners, ELP members, and Photography Club members that helped make this program a success. The Emerging Leaders Project 2023 is coming to Saigon this October. Stay tuned. 

Theme

RMIT University is committed to reducing our environmental footprint and providing a safe and “green” university for students and staff. This year, Sustainability has been selected as the theme of Emerging Leaders Project, calling for you – the future leaders to collaborate and develop creative and practical initiatives to solve real-life environmental challenges.

With this year’s key partner - the RMIT Sustainability Department, two focal goals from the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals have been selected for Hanoi campus:

The winning ideas will also receive funding for execution. After implementation, the winning ideas’ recorded impact will be shared with RMIT community and the public.
