RMIT Carnival 2023 shines as our University's most dynamic and colourful festival! 

It's all about having a blast while embracing diversity and inclusion within our incredible community of staff, alumni, and students. This event is a chance to hang out, enjoy outdoor fun, groove to awesome performances, and give a big shout-out to RMIT's growing multicultural family. 

It's all about good times and great vibes so let’s shine your own colours through this year’s event theme - A Colourful Fiesta Extravaganza! 🎪🎉

Note: All attendees must register for RMIT Carnival 2023 in advance.

Event details and registration

Saigon South campus

Time: 3 – 8pm, Saturday, 11 November 2023

Venue: Building 10 and Sports field, SGS campus, Ho Chi Minh City

Hanoi campus

Time: 3 – 8pm, Saturday, 18 November 2023

Venue: Nang Song Hong Village, Long Bien, Hanoi

The festive activities include indoor and outdoor games, kid’s zone, free finger food and drinks, live performances, first-time-ever RMIT Carnival’s Got Talent, Green Corner and a lot of free gifts.

Who can come to RMIT Carnival 2023

RMIT Carnival welcomes the RMIT community coming from all ages. Current students, alumni, staff, and staff's families can join the Carnival.

Essential information

  • Only ticketed participants are eligible to access the event. Tickets cannot be given, sold, or transferred.
  • Please bring your e-ticket and one of the following documents to the event for security check: 
    • Student card or staff card
    • Alumni e-card/national ID card /passport for alumni and external guests   
  • Taxi or other public transportation is recommended. The Saigon South car parking lot is NOT reserved for this event.  
  • A shuttle bus is available for the Hanoi attendees with prior registration. Please refer to your confirmation email for further details.   
  • If you are unwell, please do not attend the event. As always, we encourage you to wear masks whenever possible, maintain good personal hygiene, and wash hands regularly with soap or hand sanitiser.

Colourful Monster Hunting Challenge

From 3 to 9 November at Saigon South and from 9 - 15 November at Hanoi, you will start seeing RMIT Carnival 2023 promotion videos on TV screens all around campus. Keep a keen eye out for the colourful monsters that will appear, and take a photo to win an exclusive prize!

Staff and their family members, students and alumni can attend the event. Due to the limited capacity, only ticketed participants can attend the event.

Due to the event capacity and the large number of slots allocated to current students, we are afraid that we cannot extend the invitation to students' friends and family.

No. For security purposes, all guests attending the event need to register for tickets in advance.

Registration opens from 23 October until the ticket limit is reached. 

No. RMIT Carnival 2023 is open for free for participants.

Food and drinks are provided during the event. For health and safety reasons, do not take home the food provided. 

Please bring your e-ticket and one of the following documents to the event for security check:

  • Staff and students: RMIT student ID card or staff card
  • External guests: national ID card or passport

No lockers are provided so please take care of your belongings.

Please respect the privacy of individuals. Do not photograph and film any individuals without their permission.  

Please contact Event Volunteers for assistance. Medical service is also available at the event site.
