Overview

The Student Experience Survey (SES) is an RMIT official survey annually administered to RMIT students in the middle of the year. For students, this is your official channel to tell us about your RMIT journey, including the quality of the courses or teaching, the effectiveness of learning resources, student support, and engagement.

The SES is one of the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT), a set of surveys used by all Australian universities to measure student perceptions of their higher education journey.

This is your chance to give us your constructive feedback. Your comments should follow RMIT’s Student Charter.

Who can participate?

RMIT students studying Unistart, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs are encouraged to take the survey.

Students in their first semester at RMIT or in their first semester back from a leave of absence (LOA) and semester abroad do not need to complete this SES.

Your voice is heard

By taking the SES, you are letting RMIT know how you feel about your experiences studying at RMIT, both in academic quality and support services.

Make your life at RMIT better

This is your chance every year to help improve your life at RMIT — not only in courses and teaching quality but also in using student services and connecting with others at RMIT.

The Survey Representatives are available in both Hanoi and Saigon South campuses to give you support.

How to participate

The Student Experience Survey is running from Monday 17 July to Sunday 13 August.
