Tuition fees

At RMIT, tuition fee payments are made each semester, on a course-by-course basis.

Below are the tuition fees applicable to students who are new to the University and enrolled in a Higher Education program in 2023.

Fees for continuing students in 2023 will be published separately on the student website. New students enrolling in 2023 at Hanoi campus for Bachelor of Fashion (Enterprise) will receive a 10% discount on tuition fees and save around VND 120 million (and can be combined with a scholarship).

**For new Engineering students enrolling in 2023 at Saigon South campus:

A 10% discount on tuition fees is available for the three undergraduate Engineering programs in 2023, as part of RMIT’s workforce development initiative. New students enrolling in 2023 at Saigon South campus for one of these programs will save around VND 120 million and the discount can be combined with a scholarship:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering) (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering) (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering) (Honours)

The Business School postgraduate programs consists of 16 courses. Students admitted into the program with a bachelor degree or higher level qualification in business (or a related discipline) completed within 10 years will only need to complete 12 courses.

A trimester-long Study Abroad program consists of four courses per semester, which is equivalent to a full-time study load. As long as you meet the entry requirements for each course, you can choose courses from across all programs. Search for courses you can take as a study abroad student at RMIT Vietnam.

  1. RMIT Vietnam has 3 semesters per year, in each semester you enrol into a maximum of 4 courses. Payments are made each semester, on a course-by-course basis
  2. Program fees are priced and invoiced in Vietnam Dong (VND) by semester.
  3. Payment in other currencies will be converted to VND at the exchange rate on that day. Bank transfer is the preferred method of payment.
  4. The fees in USD are ONLY applicable to those international students who arrange for payment from overseas, as per Circular No. 32/2013/TT-NHNN.   
  5. For security reasons and to minimize waiting time, students are encouraged to pay tuition fees by transferring them to RMIT Vietnam’s Vietcombank/ANZ bank account or by depositing them directly at an Vietcombank/ANZ bank branch.
  6. Medical Insurance is compulsory for international students. Suitable medical insurance will be arranged by RMIT Vietnam on behalf of the student. Should an international student choose to arrange their own medical insurance, evidence of this must be provided prior to the beginning of the semester.
  7. National Medical Insurance Fee is paid by all Vietnamese university students in Vietnam. The level of the fee is related to minimum wage in Vietnam.
  8. Tuition fees and medical insurance fees are subject to change without notice.
  9. Fees are indicative only and subject to change based on individual enrolment. These fees apply only to 2023. For further details and terms and conditions, refer to the Student Fees and Charges Guide.
