The Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management at RMIT Vietnam is the only program in Vietnam to be accredited by the Institute of Hospitality (IOH) (United Kingdom). The IOH Accreditation promotes internationally recognised quality standards in hospitality education and provides institutions with the assistance to develop, enhance and improve on their programs and quality management systems.
The Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management at RMIT Vietnam is also a premier member of the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (I-CHRIE) and the Asia-Pacific CHRIE (ApacCHRIE). This program is the first in Vietnam to achieve premier membership status. Membership with I-CHRIE and ApacCHRIE provides access to a global academic and industry community, supports professional development, and enhances international visibility within the hospitality and tourism field.
The Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management at RMIT Vietnam is the first program in Vietnam to establish a professional student chapter affiliated with Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP). This milestone connects RMIT students with a global, non-profit professional association specialising in hospitality finance and technology, providing access to industry resources, professional networks and career development opportunities. The collaboration supports the integration of international standards and innovation into students’ learning experiences across tourism, hospitality and business disciplines.
The Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management at RMIT Vietnam is also a long-standing member of PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) since 2019. It is the first higher learning institution in Vietnam to be inducted with a PATA Chapter. PATA advocates the responsible development of the travel trade and the tourism industry in the Asia Pacific region. It supports education, innovation, collaboration, and adaptability. PATA brings together governments, industry leaders, academia, and communities to drive positive, lasting change.
