Student Leadership Catalysts (SLC) are student change-makers within the RMIT Student Leadership & Development Program – Student Life, a program designed to empower students with strong leadership potential through active, applied, and authentic learning. 

With a focus on purposeful leadership and social impact, the program engages students in real-world issues through workshops, service learning, student competitions, and community-focused projects. As an SLC, you don’t just participate, you will help co-design, deliver, and amplify these leadership experiences for the wider RMIT student community. 

SLC Generation 3 is where you will gain hands-on, real-world experience that builds leadership capability, professional skills, and a future-ready mindset, while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on student life at RMIT.

Who should apply

We’re looking for students who: 

  • Are current undergraduate students at RMIT SGS campus 
  • Can commit until end of 2026  
  • Are passionate about leadership, growth, and contributing to student life 
  • Enjoy teamwork, but can also take initiative 
  • Have relevant experience related to their chosen role 

How to apply

  • Submit the online application form by 11:59PM on 1 February 2026 (VN time) 
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an online interview 
  • Successful applicants will join onboarding in Semester 1, 2026
