About RMIT Carnival 2026

RMIT’s most anticipated event of the year is back!

The annual RMIT Carnival now returns to bring students, staff, and alumni together for a day full of excitement. Get ready to enjoy delicious food, outdoor games, live performances, and experience the vibrant spirit of our university community!

Under the theme Back to Analog, this year's Carnival celebrates physical presence, hands-on participation, and the human connection created when people show up and create the experience together.

At Carnival, 'Back to Analog’ meaning is brought to life through spontaneous conversations, shared laughter, collective play, and the energy each attendee brings to the event. Join the fun and immerse yourself in a sensory-rich celebration where you can make unforgettable memories with others!

Who can join

RMIT Carnival brings the RMIT community together. All current students, staff and alumni are welcome to join.
