About this competition

The HSBC Business Case Competition 2027 – RMIT Saigon South Screening is an intensive selection process led by Team Radiance (National First Runner-Up of HSBC BCC 2026) as the main expertise host, with operational and communications support from RMIT Golden Flames Competition Club (GFCC). The competition aims to identify, evaluate, and select the best-performing individual and team talents to represent RMIT at HSBC BCC 2027.

Competition structure and timeline:

Round 1 – Application round (10 August–28 September 2026)

Format: Online submission via Microsoft Teams & Microsoft Forms.
Registration: Team (4 members) or Individual registration. Personal CV submission and application inquiry response.
Output: Selection of Top 12 Teams and Top 10 Individuals.

Round 2 - Case solving round (2–4 October 2026)

Format: Online 3-day intensive case solving.
Deliverables: A handwritten pitch deck (max 25 slides), a 20-minute video presentation, and team contribution breakdown.
Output: Selection of Top 4 Teams, Top 5 Individuals, and 1 Second-Chance Team. Round 3 – Reframe to Reward (Final Pitching Round)

Round 3 – Final round (22 and 23 October 2026)

Format: Offline at RMIT SGS Campus.
Structure: 3-hour case-solving session, 20-minute presentation, 15-minute Q&A with judges, and 10-minute feedback.
Output: Selection of Top 3 Teams, Top 3 Individuals, and 14 Outstanding Individuals to proceed to the final Interview Round for RMIT Delegation selection.
