Did you know?
Failure to pay all fees and charges by the Payment Date may result in a student being withdrawn from all enrolled courses and placed on administrative Cancellation unless exceptional circumstances apply, and a timely application is lodged and approved.

Where students are placed on administrative Cancellation for unpaid fees, they will be considered to have withdrawn prior to the Census Date, and fees and charges will be adjusted accordingly.

In addition, students with outstanding fees and charges will have certain restrictions placed on them, including restrictions on enrolment, obtaining a transcript of results or Statement of Academic Completion, receiving an award, access to myRMIT, and access to some support services.

There may be additional implications for international students where enrolment is cancelled, including an obligation for RMIT Vietnam to report to the immigration authorities about changes to an international student’s enrolment status.

For more details, please refer to Student Fees and Charges Guide.
Did you know?
RMIT has strict payment and enrolment deadlines. However, we also understand that exceptional cases may make it appropriate for a payment plan to be approved.

An official tax e-invoice will be issued and sent to students’ RMIT student email accounts before the census date of their enrolled courses, in accordance with the current tax and invoicing regulations. If any changes are made to enrolment, resulting in a fee adjustment, adjusted tax e-invoice(s) will be issued after the census date of the last enrolled course to reflect the student’s actual enrolment for the semester.

If a student requests a tax e-invoice with company information, please submit the required details to the Finance and Accounting Department at least two weeks before the start of their semester or course.

For more details, please see section 9.6 in the Student Fees and Charges guide
