Julia Gaimster

Professor Julia Gaimster

Head of School of Science & Technology

Professor Julia Gaimster is Head of School of Science & Technology. She is responsible for ensuring the quality and currency of the school's portfolio of courses. Her background is in Fashion and her previous roles include: Professor of Practice and Associate Head of School at the Institute of Textiles and Clothing, Hong Kong PoluY and Associate Dean of the School of Design & Technology, London College of Fashion. Professor Gaimster holds a Master of Design from The Royal College of Art, a Doctorate of Education from The University of Surrey and is a Fellow of the Textile Institute. She has worked on international projects funded by UNIDO, the British Council and European Union. In 2019 she directed the first "Vietnam Festival of Media and Design" in Hanoi.

Dr. Duy Dang-Pham

Senior Program Manager

Dr. Duy Dang-Pham is a Lecturer and Senior Program Manager of Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering) (Honours) and Bachelor of Information Technology. Dr. Dang-Pham also serves as Research Cluster Lead (Computing Technologies) in the School of Science & Technology. In May 2018, he obtained his Ph.D degree in Business Information Systems, with a specialisation in data analytics for cyber security, from the School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.

 Dr. Dang-Pham teaches and conducts research into the areas of information security governance, business and learning analytics, digital business and innovation, and human-centred artificial intelligence. In 2016, he was awarded the RMIT Prize for Research Impact (Enterprise category), which recognized his active engagement with the industry through conducting impactful research. Since 2018, Dr. Dang-Pham have received various research and teaching awards from RMIT University.

Mr. Huy Nguyen Le

Senior Program Manager

Mr. Huy Nguyen is a Senior Program Manager of Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) (Honours). Being with RMIT Vietnam since 2013, he has been participating in course development, teaching, and coordination of courses in engineering programs. He has worked for two years as a System-On-Chip (SoC) hardware design engineer at Renesas Vietnam Design Ltd. Company. His current research interests are in Integrated Circuit (IC) design, Semiconductor Device and Process Modelling, and Embedded System Design.
