Since 2011, Anna has worked full-time as a lecturer, offering coordinator, and program advisor in Information Technology and Software Engineering at RMIT University. Anna has over 20 years of STEM education experience, having worked as a program coordinator and lecturer in the Philippines and Bahrain. In addition, she received a full scholarship to pursue a Ph.D. at RMIT University in Australia. Her research interests include creativity in computer science and engineering education, project-based learning, Internet of Things (IoT), embedded software, and activity recognition.
In recognition of her research abilities, she received an RMIT Research grant in 2013, 2016, and 2017 to conduct research. She is currently the offering coordinator for three courses: software engineering fundamentals, software requirements engineering, and software engineering project management.
