I specialise in computational fluid dynamics, turbulence, aerodynamics, sediment transport, and river flows. My research focuses on:
* High-resolution numerical methods, such as Large-Eddy simulation
* Wall modelling in high Reynolds number simulations
* Numerical methods for flow over moving surfaces.
I apply these methods in my research to study
* Turbulent flows
* Aerodynamics: drag reduction, separation control.
* Sediment transport and fluid-sediment interaction in rivers and other natural environments.
My passion extends beyond research to the classroom. My teaching approach is learner-centred, ensuring a stimulating and engaging learning environment for my students. I also conduct research on innovative teaching methods and technology, including generative artificial intelligence.
