Most of my recent research has focused on children's, adolescents and young people's use of technology. Within that there are two main streams: one of basic research, focusing on risks, opportunities and trust in new technology (check out my recent book, "Adolescent Use of New Media and Internet Technologies: Debating Risks and Opportunities in the Digital Age": https://www.taylorfrancis.com/books/mono/10.4324/9781003019459/adolescent-use-new-media-internet-technologies-gordon-ingram); and the other of applied research, focusing on the use of new technology to improve children's character strengths, social and emotional learning and conflict resolution skills (for which I have received multi-year funding from Templeton World Charity Foundation and European Research Council).
