We are committed to improving the graduation experience for graduands across both campuses wherever possible. After carefully reviewing this year’s ceremony arrangements and venue capacity, we are pleased to share that graduands attending the Hanoi ceremony may invite up to three (3) guests/family members to join them for this special occasion. Please note that all of your guests must be 12 years and above to attend.
If you would like to invite guests to attend your ceremony, please complete the relevant guest registration form by 6 April 2026. Please note that this form can only be submitted once.
After registration closes, guest e-tickets will be sent by email in early April.

Graduands on Hanoi campus need to follow the Guidelines for photography and filming on campus to receive authorisation and approval for photography and filming from RMIT Vietnam
If you and/or your guests have accessibility requirements, let us know when you fill in the registration form or contact the Graduation team via Student Connect.
Once you have informed us that you and/or your guests have accessibility requirements, someone from the Graduations team will contact you to discuss how we can support your requirements.

Graduation is a big moment, and we’ll guide you through it step by step. Below is what to expect on the day and the schedule you’ll need to plan ahead.
Gown pinning assistance will be available on the day to get you looking your best.

| 7.00am | Check-in Begins: main gate opens to graduates and guests. Graduates enter the event hall and are seated. |
| 8.10am | Graduand rehearsal |
| 8.20am | Guest seating: Guests enter the event hall or outdoor seating zone (based on tickets). There are no reserved seats; guests may sit anywhere within the allocated Zone A or B. |
| 9.00am | Check-in closes |
| 9.15am | Ceremony starts |
| 11.00am | Ceremony ends and group photo |
Note: Please keep belongings light.
If you're graduating at the ceremony, you will receive your hard-copy testamur at the ceremony after you have been presented on stage.
If you graduate in absentia before the ceremony but choose to attend the ceremony, you won't receive a hard copy testamur. Your ceremony fee is reduced to reflect this.
Academic statements have now gone digital, via My eQuals. You already have the access to your digital official testamur and transcript via My eQuals – they are securely stored and permanently available anytime and anywhere. Please make sure your personal email is updated with RMIT. Read more here.

Before departing the ceremony, you are required to return your gown and hood to the designated drop-off point. Your cooperation in this matter is essential and greatly appreciated, as it supports our collective commitment to community sustainability.
As a token of recognition and a lasting memento of your academic achievement at RMIT, you are warmly invited to keep your mortarboard as a gift.
Photos taken by the authorised photographer team will be uploaded to Flickr after the cermonies.

Each graduand may invite up to three (3) guests/family members, including adults and children aged 12 and above, to attend the ceremony. All guests need to have their e-tickets before entering the ceremony hall.
Yes, but you need to register in advance. Follow the Guidelines for photography and filming on campus for further details.
Yes. Your myRMIT, student email, and Canvas accounts will be permanently deactivated on the day of your ceremony. Back up all your files and emails before graduation day.
Smart casual or formal business attire. Please wear comfortable dress shoes, as you will be walking up and down stage stairs.
Yes, rehearsal is compulsory. If you miss it, you risk losing your seat and place in the stage procession.
No. Guests must remain in their seats so everyone can see. Professional photographers will take a close-up photo of you on stage.
The ceremony lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours. You must stay for the entire ceremony. Leaving early disrupts the event and is disrespectful to your fellow classmates who are waiting to cross the stage.
