Erasmus+ Programme

The Erasmus+ Programme is a European funding programme established in 1987, designed to support university students studying abroad in Europe.   

Dependent on individual partner institutions and subject to change annually; can include monthly stipends and/or travel payments. Only applicable to students allocated to a European partner institution with Erasmus+ availability for RMIT in the relevant academic year.

For a specific program, eligible students will be contacted directly to apply. Selection is based on host institution allocation, Erasmus+ funding availability, and academic performance. 

The Erasmus+ Grant is available to RMIT Vietnam students undertaking exchange studies at Aarhus University (Denmark) commencing in Semester 1–2027.

 

Grant Inclusions:

  • Provide financial support of up to €900/month of exchange (to a maximum of 5 months) 
  • €1735 payment of travel costs

 

To be considered for this grant, you must:

  1. Submit the Partner Exchange application (Semester 1-2027) by 15 May 2026. 

  2. Be successfully allocated and nominated to Aarhus University under the Partner Exchange program (Semester 1-2027).

  3. Upon acceptance to Aarhus University, you will be contacted with further information and instructions to apply the Erasmus+ Grant.

The Erasmus+ Grant is available to RMIT Vietnam's Business & Engineering students undertaking exchange studies at Aalto University (Finland) commencing in Semester 1–2027.

 

Grant Inclusions:

  • Provide financial support of up to €900/month of exchange (to a maximum of 5 months)
  • €1735 payment of travel costs

 

To be considered for this grant, you must:

  1. Submit the Partner Exchange application (Semester 1-2027) by 15 May 2026.

  2. Be successfully allocated and nominated to Aalto University under the Partner Exchange program (Semester 1-2027).

  3. Upon acceptance to Aalto University, you will be contacted with further information and instructions to apply the Erasmus+ Grant.

The Erasmus+ Grant is available to RMIT Vietnam's students undertaking exchange studies at Aalto University (Finland) commencing in Semester 2–2027 and plan to take courses from the course catalogues listed in the links below*:

To be considered for this grant, you must:

  2. Be successfully allocated and nominated to Aalto University under the Partner Exchange program (Semester 2-2027).
  3. Upon acceptance to Aalto University, you will be contacted with further information and instructions to apply the Erasmus+ Grant.

The Erasmus+ Grant is available to RMIT Vietnam's Fashion (Enterprise) students undertaking exchange studies at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam Fashion Institute (Netherlands) commencing in Semester 2–2027. 

Grant Inclusions:

  • Provide financial support of up to €900/month of exchange (to a maximum of 5 months)
  • €1735 payment of travel costs

To be considered for this grant, you must:

  1. Submit the Partner Exchange application (Semester 2-2027) by 30 September 2026.
  2. Be successfully allocated and nominated to Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI) under the Partner Exchange program (Semester 2-2027).
  3. Upon acceptance to AMFI, you will be contacted with further information and instructions to apply the Erasmus+ Grant.

Note: Students who are successfully awarded this grant will participate in the Industry Challenge, a project-based learning program. For more information about the program, including the courses offered, please contact mobility@rmit.edu.vn.

SEED Program

The Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) program to provide opportunities for students from ASEAN member states to conduct short-term study or research in Canadian post-secondary institutions in areas that contribute to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Dependent on individual partner institutions and subject to change annually; Only applicable to students allocated to a Canadian partner University availability for RMIT in the relevant academic year.
