RMIT Vietnam holds annual graduation ceremonies in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. 

Who can attend

  • All bachelor’s degrees and above students studying in Vietnam and higher education students studying in Melbourne who complete their program in Semesters 1, 2 and 3 - 2025. 
  • For students who graduated in absentia in 2024 and 2025: If you would like to attend the RMIT Vietnam Graduation ceremony in April 2026, please submit the application by the deadline.

  • Date: 09 April 2026 (Morning)
  • Venue: National Convention Center (NCC)

Ho Chi Minh City

  • Date: 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 April 2026
  • Venue: RMIT Active Hub (Building 10), RMIT SGS campus
  • Information about specific sessions will be updated in early March 2026

You MUST identify your correct group before proceeding with your application. Submitting an incorrect application will result in significant delays or a missed confirmation of your ceremony. If you are unsure which group you belong to, contact Student Connect for assistance. Following the correct process is essential for timely and successful confirmation.

  Current graduates 2024 and 2025 in absentia graduates (alumni)
Eligible cohort

Students who have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in Vietnam, or higher education studies in Melbourne, during Semesters 1, 2, or 3 of 2025. 

For students who completed their program in Semester 1 or 2, 2025:

  • You have received your digital academic transcript and Statement of Academic Completion (SAC). 

  • You have not received your digital testamur. 

  • Your myRMIT account and other RMIT credentials (including email) remain active and accessible.  

For students projected to complete in Semester 3, 2025:

  • You can submit your graduation application starting January 2026. 

  • An official email will be sent to your RMIT student email in late December 2025 with details on the graduation application process and the date when submissions open on myRMIT.

Students who graduated in absentia in 2024 and 2025 and wish to attend the RMIT Vietnam Graduation ceremony in April 2026.  

  • You have received an email confirming your Graduation from the program.

  • You have received the complete set of digital academic statements, including the digital testamur.

  • Your myRMIT account and other RMIT credentials (including email) have been deactivated.

Application process 

Submit your graduation application and confirm your attendance via myRMIT , following guidance on Eligibility and Apply to graduate - RMIT University website.

Apply before paying Ensure you have applied for your ceremony option and submitted your Confirmation of Attendance (CoA) form following the above guidance before making any payment. Ensure you have submitted your ceremony application via the form above before making any payment. 
Graduation fee 2,200,000 VND

1,300,000 VND* 

* As you have already graduated, you will not receive a hard copy testamur at the ceremony. If you need one, you can order a hard copy testamur for AUD 55. This cost has been deducted from the standard graduation fee for this group. 

Payment information

PLEASE MAKE PAYMENT ONLY FROM 5 JANUARY 2026 ONWARD.

EARLY PAYMENTS MAY NOT BE RECORDED.

RMIT Vietnam students: 

  • Once you have paid the Graduation fee, you can check 'Payment History' to view your transaction or 'Account Balance' to see if the fee has been cleared.

  • If not paying directly through myRMIT, you must include the following details on the Deposit slip or Telegraphic Transfer (TT) application: Student name - Student ID - 2026 April Graduation fee

RMIT Melbourne students: Pay via Bank Transfer following the detailed instructions provided in the information email. An email with payment method details will be sent to your RMIT student email by 5 January 2026.

Essential graduation fee information

Note Details
Fee Exemptions Graduates who are recipients of an RMIT Vietnam Opportunity Scholarship or full-time RMIT staff are exempt from the fee. 
Refund Policy The ceremony fee is non-refundable except in special circumstances.
Payment Processing It may take up to seven (7) working days for your payment to reflect in the school system, depending on the payment method. Retain your receipt as proof of payment.
Application & Payment Confirmation Individual confirmation email will not be issued due to high graduate volume. Follow all instructions carefully, provide accurate information, and ensure all steps are completed.

Guests

Category Details
Number of guests
  • Each graduand is allocated two (02) guest tickets for ceremony access.  
  • This allocation applies regardless of whether the guests are adults or children.
Age limitation
  • Guests attending the ceremony must be 14 years old or above. 
  • All guests must present valid identification documents. 
Ticket arrangement
  • The number of tickets is fixed. 
  • No additional tickets can be issued under any circumstances.
