The Job Shop is a free service offered to all RMIT students while they are studying and twelve months after they graduate.

The Job Shop staff are students, just like you, who have been trained in careers skills. They understand the conflicting pressures you experience in gaining employment while studying and know the best ways to address this.

The Job Shop can help all students in identifying where to look for jobs and how to apply for them. Whether you are looking for a role once you graduate or casual work while you’re studying the Job Shop staff will help you find what you need.

If you’re wanting to apply for jobs that require experience consider improving your resume through volunteering, casual work or internships. The Job Shop staff can help you in finding volunteer, internship and work opportunities relevant to the type of job you wish to apply to.

The Job Shop can help you in locating graduate programs with applications still open, graduate programs with mid-year intakes and full-time positions in your industry relevant to your experience. Further, they can help you in identifying the graduate programs you’re most interested in and finding information on the next graduate intake application period so you’re prepared if you wish to apply the following year.
