New computers coming to campus this October

During the Semester 2 break (5–18 October), RMIT will replace older computers in selected spaces across the Hanoi and Saigon South campuses. In total, 257 computers will be replaced across 41 rooms. 

This upgrade is part of the Asset Refresh 2026 program and will help keep campus computers secure, reliable and up to date for learning and study. 

• Upgrade activities will occur during the semester break to minimise disruption. 
• Some classrooms, labs and library spaces will be temporarily unavailable while equipment is replaced. 
• Any files saved on computers in affected rooms will be deleted during the upgrade. Please make sure you save or back up any files you need before the upgrade. 
• Updated instructions will be provided in rooms where required.
