These awards recognise clubs who have exemplified outstanding achievements and organisational development among all student clubs on RMIT campus. Clubs will be awarded based on the 04 main club categories:
RMIT Club Program recognises the importance of having strong and sustainable student clubs as they provide the stability and continuity which help contribute to the overall success of the Club Program at RMIT University. RMIT Vietnam provides special recognition to club who have made a significant operational commitment to RMIT Club Program and achieve the milestones of five (05), ten (10), fifteen (15) and twenty (20) years of continuous operation.
This award is given in recognition of a club that demonstrates synergy and success as a result of working together with other clubs on campus or university departments as co-hosting or supporting events or activities.
This award is given annually in recognition of a club that positively impacts the campus and the greater RMIT community.
The community service award is to honour a club that has contributed to the RMIT community or has strived to improve connections within the RMIT community. Community Engagement can be demonstrated in a variety of ways, including clubs volunteering time towards multiple RMIT club events or projects, Orientation Week, Club Day, faculty-led initiatives or even other clubs events at the University.
This award is given annually in recognition of innovation and creativity in a student club. The recipient of this award successfully creates new and meaningful events/activities contributing to RMIT community.
This award recognises not necessarily the best or most achievable clubs but the club that best displays the qualities of sportsmanship, commitment, dedication and team spirit.
This award recognises the student club with the best publicity campaign of the year. Criteria will include, but is not limited to, flyers, social media, ...
This award recognises a club who have developed and has shown growth over the course of its existence as a club.
The purpose of this Award is to recognise and distinguish a new club who has shown outstanding performance in Club Program during three (3) semesters consecutively.
This award will go to the event planned successfully which has a significant impact on the RMIT community & represents RMIT’s images impressively. Clubs events will be awarded based on the 04 main club categories:
This award recognises students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout their term of office and has enhanced participation and involvement within their club, the campus, and the community as a whole. The "Leaders of the Year Award" will recognise 2 leadership categories:
This award will go to the club that has hosted the most creative fundraisers on campus and has a significant impact on the community and society (charities, club field trips, etc.)
This award recognises a “newbies” member in the executive/management board who have excelled in their club and have demonstrated true leadership qualities.
This award recognises a role model for students (doesn’t have to be in the executive/management board of the club) seeking a balance between academic and co-curricular success.
The Unsung Hero Award is to acknowledge individuals who may not hold a leadership position within their club, but have made a positive impact on the club or society. These are the people who can make a huge impact on leaders and members in the club without realising or asking for acknowledgement.
This award recognizes a club that has shown exceptional effort in establishing a new club and successfully launching it in the year with an impressive start.
