About Charity and Environment Club

The Charity and Environment Club provides insights and inspiration to make a positive impact within and beyond the RMIT community. The club creates a professional working environment to connect volunteers with each other to form an energetic, creative, and responsible group.

As an organization, RMIT Charity and Environment Club seeks actionable ideas to inspire the RMIT community to take a deeper look into our environment as well as the community that utmost need our help. As a family, we expect to become a lovely home for our CEC community to fully experience their college life.

Events and Achievements

Pick me up project

Collaborating with Keep Hanoi Clean Organization, CEC hosted this event with the aim to clean Hoan Kiem Lake Area. After the event, 209 kg of trash were collected with the support of 105 volunteers of different ages from all over Hanoi.

Memories Guardian

This was a fundraising event to help the unfortunate children at Center for Social Protection 4 in Hanoi. In the event, we expected to share our love and support to kids who could not have the fully happy childhood that they deserved by directly visiting and making handmade gifts with them. The event also brought our RMIT community back to unforgettable childhood memories with toys that were undetachable to our memories.2019: Dragon Mid-autumn: All profits from selling diverse environmentally-friendly products at RMIT Hanoi were donated to Blue Dragon Children's Foundation

Ms. Duong Phuong Anh (Vice President, 2020 – 2021)

"CEC was the first university club that I joined. Not just a club, it is more like a family that is lovely, heart-warming and supportive. CEC has walked me through hard times when I was just a newbie. CEC has given me the strength to open up and be the confident person I am today. CEC has given me the chance to achieve skills that I truly find helpful in the future. Being in CEC is such a great journey that I could never forget!"

Mr. Dang Tran Van Nguyen (Member, 2020 – 2021)

“After 1 semester, I felt like this is my second home. Everyone was so nice and kind, I can meet new friends and we had a lot of memorable moments together. In the works, we planned ideas in detail and put a lot of effort to make the events go smoothly. Outside of the club, we spent time hanging out to make everyone closer to each other. I’m so proud being a member in CEC family!”
