Meet our scholars

Dang Pham Thien Duy

Having received the Academic Achievement scholarship from RMIT Vietnam, Dang Pham Thien Duy is currently a Senior Lecturer and Senior Program Manager (PhD programs) at The Business School in RMIT Vietnam. With a passion for sharing knowledge and fostering lifelong learning skills, Thien Duy encourages the young generation, telling them to “step out of your comfort zone and keep transforming yourself.”

Hang Thi Ly

Coming from Mu Cang Chai, Hang Thi Ly earned the Opportunity Scholarship through her inspiring story. As a Tourism and Hospitality Management student at RMIT Vietnam, this H'mong girl dreams of developing tourism and promoting the beauty of her homeland. Ly shares, “I hope more people will have the opportunity to study just like I did and help their community.”

Vy Le

Working in the technology industry is Le Vy’s true passion. She secured the Master of Artificial Intelligence Scholarship from RMIT Vietnam and currently works as a Data Analyst Lead at Parcel Perform. Vy emphasises, "women can be just as successful in STEM-related fields.”

Nguyen Thanh Vinh

Nguyen Thanh Vinh is the first visually impaired student to receive the Opportunity Scholarship from RMIT Vietnam. Leveraging the experience from RMIT, Vinh continued to earn the prestigious Chevening Scholarship from the UK Government, and he has recently completed the master's program in Special Educational Needs. “The RMIT scholarship helped me transform myself and opened up a world of global opportunities.” Vinh said.

Do Hoang Duc Anh

Having won the Full Scholarship from RMIT Vietnam, Do Hoang Duc Anh is currently an Adolescents & Youth Engagement Officer at UNICEF. With a burning passion for working towards building a better community, she states, “no matter where I work, I’ll continue to pursue my social mission.”

Tran Hong Hanh

Tran Hong Hanh, CEO and founder of Rabity Kids Fashion, says that getting a scholarship is one of her most significant milestones, helping shape many of the qualities that contributed to her success later in life. Having earned the Academic Achievement Scholarship after applying twice, she encourages young people, "be patient with yourself and never give up.”
