Overview

The scholarship is open to non-Vietnamese students who have achieved outstanding academic performance in high school and will be enrolling in the Foundation Studies program in 2026.

There are a total of 08 scholarships with each value of 50% and 25% of the program tuition fees.

RMIT Vietnam reserves the right to adjust the values and allocation of scholarships at its discretion.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must: 

  • Be a citizen of a country other than Vietnam; 
  • Have applied for admission to the Foundation Studies program and meet the program entry requirements; 
  • Have achieved the scholarship minimum GPA requirements, or equivalent of 70% average and above in your last completed qualification (which must also be applicable for admission requirement); 
  • Be commencing study in the program in the semester that you are applying for the scholarship

Minimum GPA requirements

This is only a reference. The Scholarship Office will determine your eligibility when you apply.

Cambodia Diploma of Upper Secondary School C grade average or 70%
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Completion of Year 1 with at least 25 points
IGCSE C grade average or 65%
Myanmar Basic Education High School Examination/Matriculation Examination  65%
Other grading systems or other qualifications Will be determined by the Scholarship Office when you apply

Selection criteria

  • Applicants are assessed and ranked by GPA of their last completed qualification (or equivalent) following the eligibility criteria.
  • Available scholarships in each respective semester are awarded in order of rank, starting with 50% scholarships, followed by 25% scholarships.

3. Submit your scholarship application

After you receive the Letter of Offer, submit a scholarship application prior to the deadline.

Note

  • Before applying for the scholarship, we recommend applicants to read the Scholarship Terms and Conditions. In addition to these terms and conditions, recipients of this scholarship are responsible for maintaining a full-time enrolment of at least 48 credit points per semester.
  • Once you successfully submit your Scholarship Application Form, you will receive an automatic email confirmation at the email address you provided. If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact the Scholarship Office at scholarships@rmit.edu.vn as soon as possible by the scholarship application deadline.
  • The scholarship application process is highly competitive with a limited number of scholarships available. Unfortunately, not all eligible applicants will receive one.
