Meet our Myanmar community at RMIT

Pwint Phoo Myint Aung - Student, Bachelor of Digital Marketing

Choosing RMIT turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. The Digital Marketing course is super practical, with real case studies and real clients. I really enjoy how interactive the classes are in Vietnam, and I’ve become more excited about learning and actually look forward to going to class.

Aung Myat Kyaw - Student, Bachelor of Psychology

RMIT offers top-tier education with a strong focus on practical learning - an excellent choice to earn an Australian qualification in a country just a short flight from Myanmar. With many Myanmar students here, we’re always looking out for each other, which makes everything feel more comfortable and enjoyable.

Phyu Phyu Shinn Thant - Student, Bachelor of IT

Studying at RMIT Vietnam is way beyond what I expected. You get a world-class education with a global perspective right close to home. I’m studying IT, and I’ve loved courses like Web Programming Bootcamp - they really challenge you and let you apply what you learn in real-world scenarios. The hands-on projects are one of my favorite things because you can really dive in and create something useful.

Kyaw Aung - Alumnus, MBA

Hanoi is a beautiful, ancient and cultured city with low living costs. RMIT Hanoi campus is in the centre of Hanoi and is close to many restaurants and shopping centres. The university has modern facilities, high-quality education and self-development and student support services. For Myanmar students who would like to study at RMIT, I can say it’s the best choice for higher education.

Naw Gloria Htoo - Student, Bachelor of Aviation

It’s been two years since I came to study abroad in RMIT Vietnam. These two years have been full of life-changing experiences - embracing a new culture, enjoying my studies, becoming more open… From a shy newcomer to someone who truly feels at home - RMIT Vietnam has shaped me in ways I never expected.

Su Thiri Soe - Alumnus, Bachelor of Business

I chose RMIT Vietnam because I had heard about the University alumni’s success stories in different industries and how the teaching aligns with the needs of today’s workplace. I too wanted to have an authentic RMIT student experience. Although I originally studied in a Myanmar public school, adapting to learning at RMIT was smooth because the university provides its students with all resources to succeed, including workshops and webinars to familiarize ourselves with the international learning system and school facilities. Whether it was making inquiries or applying to the school, I received immediate responses and guidance.
