Joe Dakin is the founder of Dark Corner Product Studio, a dynamic design and manufacturing practice that has been helping to shape the landscape of homeware and design-led products for over a decade. From concept to creation, the studio has brought a spectrum of cutting-edge products to life for renowned names like MoMA, 4 Art Partners, New Tendency, Braid & Wood Design, Yoni Alter, Boyhood Design, and Novoform—bridging the gap between visionary design and tangible objects.

Joe is also the co-founder of Afro Afro, a UK-based concept and lifestyle brand that redefines identity and cultural expression through concept-driven collections.

Most recently, Joe launched 6000 Feet Beyond Man & Time Studio, a creative studio that pushes boundaries at the intersection of product, art, sculpture, and storytelling. Focused on bold collaborations with artists, designers, and globally recognized brands, the studio explores thought-provoking ideas that challenge perception and ignite conversation.

Interests outside the industry include strange cinema, electronic music, collecting visual literature, cooking, and growing vegetables.
