Tony Nguyen is the Interim Associate Program Manager of the MBA program at RMIT University Vietnam. He received his PhD in International Business Administration, with a Management concentration from Texas A&M International University, and his MBA from the University of Houston–Clear Lake. His research lies at the intersection of leadership and organizational behavior, examining how leaders influence employees’ psychological states, motivation, and workplace behavior. His current work focuses on the mechanisms linking leadership styles and knowledge hiding, with particular attention to factors such as employee envy, peer justice, and leader moral credits. Tony’s research also explores how leadership communication shapes creativity, innovation, and employee voice. He draws on a broad range of theoretical perspectives, including social and cognitive psychology, motivation and identity theories, and organizational behavior frameworks, to understand how leaders cultivate ethical, innovative, and high-performing organizational climates. in Knowledge Management Research & Practice, Tourism Management Perspectives, and the
International Journal of Strategic Communication, among others.
