Tony Nguyen

Dr Tony Nguyen is an award-winning lecturer and Interim Senior Program Manager for Postgraduate Programs at RMIT University Vietnam, where he oversees the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Master of International Business (MIB), having previously served as Associate Program Manager for the MBA. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, cum laude, and his MBA at the University of Houston–Clear Lake, and his Ph.D. in International Business Administration, Management, at Texas A&M International University. His research sits at the intersection of leadership, organisational behaviour and human resource management. He is interested in how leaders and HR practices shape the way employees think and behave at work, particularly their ambidexterity, their creativity and their tendency to share or hide knowledge. His studies have been published in Knowledge Management Research & Practice, Tourism Management Perspectives and the International Journal of Strategic Communication, among others. He is also an Expert Contributor for Psychology Today, the world’s largest online destination for psychology and behavioural science. Beyond the university, he brings this expertise to industry through leadership training for companies such as Buymed and Zalo.
