Giang is a Creative Director, Designer/Artist, Entrepreneur, Academic and PhD Student working across various disciplines. Rarely spotted in the wild, his natural habitats are at a design firm called Behalf Studio, which he founded and leads, or RMIT University, where he teaches digital media design.
Beyond the realm of commercial pursuits at Behalf Studio, Giang’s works delicately tread the border between art and design. His work is expressed through a versatile array of media, including graphic prints, publications, type design, creative coding, and digital experiences, to name a few.
For what it’s worth, Giang has received recognition in various design awards, journals, and publications. He was one of the artists at the Vietnamese pavilion for the internationally acclaimed London Design Biennale in 2018 and also presented at the Type Directors Club in 2021. Most recently, Giang and Behalf were recognized in Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Awards 2025.
