Chuyen has lived and worked in different countries such as Taiwan and New Zealand for many years. He has worked for a Freight Forwarder (sea transportation) and a Manpower Agency in Taiwan before obtaining his PhD in Management at University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He has involved in teaching and tutoring in a range of business-related course such as international business, cross-cultural management, and fundamentals of management. His current research interests are centred around culture and strategy-as-practice in organisations.
