Over 370 graduates came from Business programs making it the largest group of graduates, followed by the Professional Communication and Digital Marketing programs. The Design Studies, Languages and PhD programs congratulated their first ever group of graduates at these ceremonies.
RMIT Vietnam’s first PhD graduate Dr Heather Swenddal investigated the science of management and particularly explored the character of international universities with multiple campuses around the globe, of which RMIT is a perfect example.
More than 100 post-graduate degree qualifiers at Saigon South campus received the Executive Master of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration and Master of International Business awards.
RMIT Vietnam Chairman Professor Peter Coloe congratulated all graduates on their achievements.
“Reaching this moment has demanded outstanding commitment and many years of hard work,” Professor Coloe said.
“In challenging and uncertain times like these, you’ve responded with resilience and embraced every obstacle.
“Today’s graduates will join over 15,500 members of the RMIT Vietnam alumni community who are already experiencing first-hand the benefit of an education that opens doors within Vietnam and around the world.”
Professor Coloe told fresh graduates to take comfort knowing their experiences, and the skills they developed, have prepared them to adapt and succeed in a changing world.
“With industry and enterprise embedded in everything we do, we’re confident that we’ve provided you with the skills, knowledge and connections you need to be successful - far beyond the walls of RMIT,” Professor Coloe said.
“We’re proud our graduates are widely recognised for their work-ready skills and are eagerly sought after by employers globally.”
