Tips for parents

  • Tuition fees and charges: accessible to students on myRMIT (including adjustment invoices if there are any changes in course enrolment). Students are strongly encouraged to share this information with parents and families when needed. Read more about the payment methods and detailed instructions.
  • Remain vigilant and aware of financial scams: encourage your students to verify information through the official RMIT website and contact Safer Community to report any suspicious activites. Read more about common scams targeting students.
  • National Medical Insurance (NMI): It is compulsory for all Vietnamese students to register NMI. Parents can encourage students to read NMI guide for students (PDF document in English). If the student has questions or needs support with a health insurance waiver, please encourage them to contact Student Connect.
  • Confirmation of Enrolment: The Confirmation of Enrolment letter can be used as a supporting document in various circumstances (such as visa applications, job applications, further study, etc.) that require the University to certify a student’s enrolment status. To request, students must submit their request form via myRMIT. The document will be ready for students to pick up within 7 business days. Learn more about request details.
