Reframing Vietnam

Reframing Vietnam is a university wide project celebrating the 25th anniversary of RMIT University in Vietnam, dedicated to showcase Vietnam's rich diversity and cultural heritage.

For 25 years, RMIT Vietnam has been part of Vietnam's incredible journey - a journey of learning, innovation, diversity and impact. On this milestone anniversary, we invite you to show the world a different Vietnam, seen through the lens of RMIT values.

We invite you to celebrate Vietnam's rich history, vibrant present and promising future through artistic expression. This competition offers a platform for the communities of RMIT to showcase their talents, share their stories, and connect with a global audience. By doing so, it fosters pride and a deeper understanding of Vietnamese cultural identity.

For international audiences, the project presents a fresh and dynamic perspective on Vietnam, highlighting its creativity, resilience and evolving spirit. Ultimately, we aim to spark meaningful dialogue and cultivate a deeper appreciation for Vietnam's unique cultural landscape.

The competition

We invite our students, alumni and staff to choose one of RMIT's values and create an original work. The work can be a story, artwork, video or another form of expression, that presents an inspiring vision of Vietnam in 2025.
