Career Ready Hub is your go-to place for career-related support at RMIT, and we are here to support you at every stage of your university journey.

We help you explore your career direction, improve your job search skills, prepare strong applications and connect with industry opportunities throughout your university journey.

This is a free service for all current RMIT students and remains available for up to two years after graduation.

CV and interview preparation

Receive personalised feedback on your CV and cover letter, practise interview techniques and build confidence through peer-supported drop-in sessions.

Career direction and 1:1 consultations

Unsure about your career path? Book a consultation with our team to explore your interests and create a clear action plan.

Career skills programs

Join workshops and programs designed to build practical skills for the workplace, from communication and teamwork to professional confidence and workplace expectation.

Who will support you at Career Ready Hub

At Career Ready, you can receive support from both trained student assistants and professional career consultants. 

Career Ready assistants

Career Ready assistants are current RMIT students who have been trained in career skills and peer support. They understand the pressures of balancing study and job searching and can provide practical advice.

They are ideal for:

  • Quick career tips and questions regarding upcoming programs, events.
  • CV and cover letter feedback
  • Interview practice
  • General job search tips 

Career consultants

Career consultants are highly trained experts who can sit down with you and provide in-depth guidance tailored to your goals and circumstances.

They can support you with:

  • Career orientation
  • Career plans and decisions
  • Industry insights
  • Complex job search strategies
