About

Tuan-Dat Trinh is a Lecturer in Computing Technology at RMIT University Vietnam. He brings over 15 years of specialized experience in higher education, curriculum leadership, and cutting-edge research. He laid a solid foundation for his academic journey early on by achieving a perfect entrance exam score to Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) , graduating from the Talented Engineer Training Program , and subsequently earning his Ph.D. in Computer Science from TU Wien in Vienna, Austria.

As a dedicated educator, Dr. Trinh has built a robust pedagogical career, successfully delivering bilingual courses in both English and Vietnamese across foundational and advanced computer science disciplines. He has spearheaded the Object-Oriented Programming curriculum development team at the School of Information and Communications Technology (SoICT - HUST) , where he has shaped the learning paths for students in Java, Python, Software Architecture, and Web Development. His teaching philosophy seamlessly bridges rigorous computational theory with industry-relevant, practical applications.

Dr. Trinh’s current research lies at the forefront of emerging decentralized technologies, intelligent systems, and operational optimization. He actively leads collaborative projects in Blockchain data analytics, Decentralized Finance (DeFi), and Web3 integrations, focusing on decentralized scoring frameworks, protocol optimization, and blockchain-based authentication mechanisms across various domains, including agriculture. In parallel, his work heavily involves operations research and data analytics applied to intelligent logistics, vehicle routing optimization, and the strategic allocation of corporate KPIs. Driven by recent breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, he also integrates Large Language Models (LLMs) and smart conversational agents to build natural language interfaces for e-commerce and specialized knowledge bases. With over 30 peer-reviewed publications and multiple international paper awards , his ongoing academic contributions continue to drive innovation across both industry and academia.
