Vicky Luong is an academic and marketing professional whose work bridges global industry practice and higher education. She holds a Bachelor of Marketing from RMIT University Vietnam and a Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from RMIT Melborurne.
Vicky began her professional career in Australia, where she contributed to the international education sector through roles at IDP Education Australia as a Subject Matter Expert in International Student Support and Marketing Executive, and later at Navitas Melbourne, a Professional Year program provider. Her experience in these institutions fostered a deep understanding of international education systems and cross-cultural communication.
Returning to Vietnam, she brought her global experience to leading international agencies such as VERO ASEAN and AnyMind Group, where she specialized in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) and Influencer Marketing. Over more than eight years in the industry, Vicky has led impactful campaigns for top-tier brands including Coca-Cola, VP Bank, and TikTok, combining strategic insight with cultural sensitivity.
In addition to her industry experience, Vicky has served as a lecturer in Marketing Communication at FPT Melbourne Polytechnic, where she integrates practical insights with academic theory to prepare students for dynamic marketing environments. Her teaching emphasises strategic thinking, intercultural competence, and ethical marketing practice.
Vicky’s research interests focus on the strategic integration of influencer marketing within brand storytelling, and the adaptation of global marketing communication frameworks to local cultural contexts. Through both her academic and professional endeavors, she seeks to advance understanding of how contemporary communication strategies can enhance brand authenticity and cross-cultural engagement.
