Tam V.A. Le has over ten years of experience teaching economics at RMIT Vietnam, delivering a wide range of courses from introductory to advanced levels.

Prior to joining RMIT, Tam held roles as a business development manager for foreign-directed investment firms in Vietnam. Then she worked as a field supervisor for various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Vietnam, International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), German Technology Organization (GTZ), Care, World Bank, UNICEF, etc. Her work has covered areas such as agricultural food value chains and business development services.

Tam was awarded PhD degree at Graduate School of Business and Law, RMIT Melbourne. Her research focuses on explaining the growth of the firm and evolution in the agri-food industry, particularly concerning food safety.

 

Tam has co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. These publications are in development economics, monetary policy, and educational technologies.
