Chi has been with RMIT since 2011 teaching a variety of marketing courses. Before becoming an academic, she worked as a marketer in retail and FMCG industry. Main courses taught in the current Digital Marekting Programs: Marketing principles, consumer behaviour and psychology, global branding.

  • 2024 - now: Marketing Consultant in Residence for Ascend Visual Company - premium 3D animation service for clients in industrial sector in Europe and America.  
  • 2022: Marketing Consultant for Pu Luong 0Km - A local restaurant and accommodation service in Thanh Hoa Province - in Green Marketing and Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality Strategy 
  • 2013 - 2014: Consultant at Vietnam Cleaner Production Centre (VNCPC): Consulting in the Get Green Vietnam Project. The project is sponsored by SWITCH-Asia Program, European Union with the aim to promote sustainable consumption in Vietnam and establish more than 1000 change agents.

  • 2009: Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (Market Researcher) 
    • Conducting research on consumer behaviour, perception and attitude on specific product categories. Collecting and analysing data and information about the Vietnamese market for specific industries. Assessing the trading opportunities between Korean sellers and potential Vietnamese buyers. 
  • 2008: Unilever Vietnam - Management Trainee 
    • Being trained for management roles in Marketing functions
