Vinh earned a PhD degree in Computer Science from Universite de Lorraine, France. He is holding degrees in Quantitative Finance and Law as well. 

He has taught at several universities in Vietnam, incl. few international programs. His research interests include cybersecurity, financial analysis and network learning.
