RMIT Vietnam Asia-Pacific Smart and Sustainable Cities Research and Engagement Hub

About the Hub

Over 2024-2025, the RMIT Vietnam Asia-Pacific Smart and Sustainable Cities Research and Engagement Hub will deploy RMIT’s smart and sustainable cities capability on collaborative research, training and engagement to achieve impact for Vietnam and the Asia-Pacific, both within RMIT and with external stakeholders, across government, private firms, international agencies and partner universities in the region.

This project leverages RMIT’s extensive expertise in smart and sustainable cities research and training to generate significant impact, benefiting Vietnam and other Asia-Pacific nations where RMIT is active. Specifically focused on Vietnam, the initiative aims to assist both local and central government in realising their objectives of dual transformation encompassing digital/smart and green advancements. The project will be based at the RMIT Vietnam campus in Saigon South, linking with RMIT researchers in Melbourne, Hanoi and Barcelona.
