Overview

The Postgraduate Scholarship is open to new students applying for a Master's program (Master of Business Administration, Master of International Business, Master of Artificial Intelligence).

The scholarship is assessed and awarded semesterly to prospective students enrolling in the respective semesters:

Semester 2 2026 (June/July)
  • 02 x 50% of the program tuition fee for Master of International Business/ Master of Business Administration programs.

Semester 3 2026 (October)

  • 03 x 50% of the program tuition fee for Master of International Business/ Master of Business Administration programs. 
  • 03 x 50% of the program tuition fee for Master of Artificial Intelligence program. 

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • meet the entry requirements for the intended Master's program at RMIT Vietnam
  • commence your study in 2026

Selection criteria

The scholarships are awarded based on merit, considering the following criteria:

  • Academic achievement
  • Professional experience
  • Engagement in the community
  • Potential contributions to the RMIT cohort and the broader community

The selection process includes screening, shortlisting and an interview.

Scholarship application requirements

You are required to provide the following supporting documents in your scholarship applications. All supporting documents must be in English and combined into a single .pdf file no larger than 16MB.

  • A personal statement of maximum 500 words outlining:
    • how a postgraduate degree in your selected program from RMIT Vietnam will help you achieve your study and career goals;
    • your plans for the future;
    • why you are a good candidate for the postgraduate scholarship.
  • A copy of your Curriculum vitae (CV);
  • Two recommendation letters from a manager, colleague, or lecturer.

Semester 2 2026 (June/July intake)

  • Applications close: 08 May 2026, 5:00pm GMT +7
  • Release of outcome: by 10 June 2026

Semester 3 2026 (October intake)

  • Applications close: 21 August 2026, 5:00pm GMT +7
  • Release of outcome: by 25 September 2026

Notes

  • Before applying for scholarships, we recommend that all applicants read the Scholarship terms and conditions.
  • The scholarship application process is highly competitive with a limited number of scholarships available. Unfortunately, not all eligible applicants will receive one.
  • RMIT Vietnam will only consider candidates who have provided all required documents by the scholarship application deadline.
  • RMIT Vietnam reserves the right to adjust the values and allocation of the scholarships at its discretion.
  • Once accepted, the scholarship cannot be transferred to another program.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview, with expected timeframes of a May interview for Semester 2 (June/July intake) and a September interview for Semester 3 (October intake). The interview date is subject to change.
