Postgraduate scholarships

Overview

The Postgraduate Scholarship is open to new students applying for a Master's program (Master of Business Administration, Master of International Business, Master of Artificial Intelligence).

The scholarship is assessed and awarded semesterly to prospective students enrolling in the respective semesters:

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

• meet the entry requirements for the intended Master's program at RMIT Vietnam;
• commence your study in 2027.

Selection criteria

The scholarships are awarded based on merit, considering the following criteria:

• Academic achievement
• Professional experience
• Engagement in the community
• Potential contributions to the RMIT cohort and the broader community

The selection process includes screening, shortlisting and an interview.

Scholarship application requirements

You are required to provide the following supporting documents in your scholarship applications. All supporting documents must be in English and combined into a single .pdf file, with a maximum of 9 pages and no larger than 16 MB.

1. Personal Statement (1 page / Max 500 words)

• How a postgraduate degree from RMIT Vietnam will help you achieve your academic and career goals;
• Your plans for the future and how you intend to contribute to the RMIT community and wider society;
• Why you are an exceptional candidate for this postgraduate scholarship.

2. Curriculum Vitae (CV): A CV of no more than 3 pages

3. Two recommendation letters from a manager, colleague, or lecturer. (2 Pages Max / Max 500 Words Per Letter). Each letter must include the recommender's full name, email address, and phone number.

4. Portfolio of Evidence (3 pages max): Supporting evidence demonstrating your achievements, experiences, skills, and contributions. Candidates may be contacted to provide additional supporting evidence if required.

• Attach verifiable evidence (certificates, letter, or photos of actual activities with clear captions) for community activities or outstanding achievements
• Quantity limit: Only 01 representative piece of evidence per activity
• External links are not eligible

RMIT Vietnam will only consider candidates who have provided all required documents by the scholarship application deadline.

Key dates 

Semester 2 2027 (June/July intake)

• Applications close: 07 May 2027, 5:00pm GMT +7
• Release of outcome: by 14 June 2027

Semester 3 2027 (October intake)

• Applications close: 20 August 2027, 5:00pm GMT +7
• Release of outcome: by 24 September 2027

Notes

• Before applying for scholarships, we recommend that all applicants read the Scholarship terms and conditions.
• The scholarship application process is highly competitive with a limited number of scholarships available. Unfortunately, not all eligible applicants will receive one.
• RMIT Vietnam reserves the right to adjust the values and allocation of the scholarships at its discretion.
• Once accepted, the scholarship cannot be transferred to another program.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview, with expected timeframes of a May interview for Semester 2 (June/July intake) and a September interview for Semester 3 (October intake). The interview date is subject to change.
