Under the MoU, the two parties will explore and develop opportunities to:

  • offer students internships and work placements to develop practical skills, professional confidence and a deeper understanding of the aviation sector and its operational environment,
  • ensure RMIT’s academic programs continue to reflect industry developments, emerging technologies, and future workforce needs,
  • conduct collaborative research and innovation, and
  • organise specialised training, professional development and industry engagement activities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Iwona Miliszewska said: "Through this MOU, RMIT and ACV are establishing a partnership that is both strategic and practical, with a strong focus on talent development, industry engagement, and innovation. We see this partnership as a long-term and mutually beneficial relationship built on shared goals, mutual learning, and trust. We look forward to working closely with ACV to create meaningful outcomes for both organisations and for Vietnam’s future workforce."

Mr Nguyen Ngoc Quy, Member of the Board of Directors at ACV, share the same vision, underscored the importance of people as the foundation for sustainable growth.

He said: “A highly skilled workforce will be essential for ACV to meet the operational demands of major national projects, including Long Thanh International Airport and the expansion of Tan Son Nhat and Noi Bai international airports.”

As Vietnam continues its rapid economic growth and international integration, the aviation industry will play an increasingly important role in connecting communities, supporting economic growth, and driving national development. This creates exciting opportunities, but also important challenges, that require strong collaboration between industry and education institutions.
