Foundations Studies Program Manager Vietnam Jennifer Howard said, “We are excited to see where Foundation Studies will take this first cohort of students and look forward to the future success of this program in both campuses”.

RMIT Training CEO Jake Heinrich was in HCMC to welcome staff and students during the first week of the program.

“It’s wonderful to see the new Foundation Studies program launched in Vietnam,” he said.

“The program launch has been in the planning for several years and to finally see a class in place, students learning in classes is really a terrific achievement from a lot of people.

“We now have in place teaching and support staff as well as a program manager, all ably supported by Foundation Studies colleagues in Melbourne.”

Mr Heinrich emphasised that the Foundation Studies program is designed to ensure that students are well prepared for their higher education program through a supported discipline focussed experience.

“We look forward to continuing the delivery in Vietnam and soon adding our science stream to the program delivery options.”
