RMIT Vietnam Library's most anticipated event is back!

📗RMIT students, staff, and alumni are encouraged to bring their own books and swap them for other books of interest.

📗Bring the books you wish to swap to your campus libraries (week 5-8) and canteen booth (Saigon South campus: week 5-6). 

📗We are also calling for the donation of children's books

📗We're partnering with the RMIT Sustainability department this year! 🌱

📕On World Book Day, 23rd of April, the main event will happen.

3️⃣ Bring more books you wish to swap to obtain more tickets.

The RMIT Book Swap continues to grow, and in 2025, we’re excited to build on its success.

🍄 In 2024, 145 participants exchanged 1501 items and donated 1607, including children's books and stationery, with 97% eager to return next year.

🚀 Be part of Book Swap 2025! Your donations help foster a love of reading and provide support to children in need.

Book Swap Day

 📅 Wednesday - April 23, 2025

⏰ 9AM - 3PM

📍 The libraries at Saigon South campus and Hanoi campus 

1️⃣ Check in at the library front desk with your e-ticket

2️⃣ Based on the number of books you brought, swap as many as you'd like

3️⃣ Check out swapped books at the library front desk.

🌏 Remember to bring your own bags to take the books home.

Collect Greenpoints

At the Saigon South campus 
  • 5 Greenpoints for each swapper.
  • 5 Greenpoint for each donator.
In Hanoi Campus
  • Instead of Greenpoints, each swapper or donator will collect 5 points which will be converted directly into merchandise:
    • 5 points = 1 set of straws and a brush or 1 ballpoint pen

  • 1 point: palm leaves utensils
  • 2 point: palm leaves utensils/wooden pen and bamboo straw
  • 25 points: almond grass hat
  • 30 points: dining set/green reborn bags/lotus fan
  • 45 points: coffee ground mug

  • 65 points: almond grass fashion bags
  • 70 points: reborn umbrella
  • 80 points; plain conical lotus hat
  • 90 points: almond grass laptop bag

Sustainability 101 and DIY Workshop

The Library has partnered with the RMIT Sustainability team to organise a fun sustainability workshop, for participants to learn about eco-friendly practices. Participants have a chance to create their own beautiful bookmark, made purely from recycled materials.
