University of Texas at Dallas
Mike Peng (PhD, University of Washington) is the Jindal Chair of Global Strategy at the University of Texas at Dallas. He is President of the Asia Academy of Management (AAOM), where he is a Fellow. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of International Business (AIB) and a National Science Foundation (NSF) Career Award winner. He previously served on the faculty at the Ohio State University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and University of Hawaii. At AAOM, Peng served as Editor-in-Chief for the Asia Pacific Journal of Management (2007–2009), Program Chair for the main conference in Bali, Indonesia (2019), and Vice-President (2020–2024). As President, Mike is leading two major initiatives: (1) launching a Special Conference series, which held its first conference successfully in Bangkok, Thailand, in June 2025; (2) rebranding the Asian Case Research Journal to become a practitioner-oriented, insights-rich new journal Asia Management. he has published over 180 articles in leading journals. His three market-leading textbooks, Global Business, Global Strategy, and Global, have been translated in Chinese, Portuguese, and Spanish; and adapted for the Europe/EMEA and India/South Asia markets. He has 69,000+ Google Scholar citations. As of October 1, 2025, according to Google Scholar, he is ranked #1 in global strategy, #3 in international business, and #9 in strategic management.

Xiao-Ping Chen (PhD, University of Illinois) is Philip M. Condit Endowed Chair and Professor of Management in the Michael G. Foster School of Business, University of Washington. She has served as Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs (2016-2020) and Chair of the Department of Management and Organization (2009-2015) at Foster. She is an elected Fellow in Academy of Management (AOM), American Psychological Association (APA), and Society for Industrial and Organisational Psychology (SIOP). She is on the list of top 2% most cited scientists in the world. Professor Chen has published many research papers in top-tier journals such as AMR, AMJ, JAP, OBHDP, Management Science, and JIBS. She was a faculty previously at Indiana University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

A Fellow of the Academy of Management and Strategic Management Society, he is one of the world's most cited researchers in his field. He has published widely in top journals, developed key MBA courses, and consulted globally with major corporations. Zajac has held visiting positions at top universities worldwide and serves on several corporate and nonprofit boards.
