RMIT to partner with Dat Xanh Services in artificial intelligence research

RMIT University recently signed an Aide Memoire with Dat Xanh Services (DXS) to further collaborative research and strategic partnership in a broad range of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.

Through this partnership, RMIT and DXS will establish DatXanh-RMIT AI Centre, support startup ideas, research prototypes and entrepreneurship programs, in addition to conducting high-quality research and development in the fields of AI.

The signing was witnessed by top local and international leaders and representatives in fintech and proptech which demonstrates the strong commitment to work together to improve technology solutions and talent development for Vietnam.

RMIT Vietnam Chairman Professor Peter Coloe said that RMIT is committed to supporting Vietnam in embracing Industry 4.0.

“COVID-19 has accelerated the digital shift, intensifying Vietnam’s focus on Industry 4.0, and created new opportunities for digital innovation. As a global university of technology, design and enterprise, RMIT is seizing the opportunity to work with government and industry to drive new ways of working,” Professor Coloe said.

“This exciting partnership with DXS will allow us to continue making a positive economic and social contribution to the Vietnamese industries and communities.”

Dat Xanh Services General Director Mr Nguyen Truong Son emphasised the urgency and importance of technology application in business.

“We determine that the use of technology in business activities is an important and urgent job in a business development roadmap,” he said.

“We highly appreciate the reputation and contribution of RMIT to the country in the past 20 years. We believe RMIT and DXS will make significant strides in the innovation journey.”
