Book Swap 2025: a celebration of reading, sharing, and caring

The annual RMIT Vietnam Library’s Book Swap 2025 was a tremendous success! With amazing energy and generosity of the RMIT community, we exchanged over 1,100 books and items and donated hundreds to children in need through our partners.

From beautifully recycled bookmarks to smiles shared at Book Swap main event, it was a celebration of reading, sharing, and caring for planet Earth.

What made this year even more special was seeing students, staff, and alumni come together not just to trade books, but to trade stories, memories and values. Each swap was more than an exchange of goods, it was a moment of connection and a small step toward more mindful, sustainable living. The creative corner for recycled book crafts was especially popular, inspiring everyone to see books not just as objects to read, but as means for change, imagination and impact.

We are so grateful to each participant for helping build a vibrant and sustainable book-loving community at RMIT University Vietnam. You have made a real difference. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year.

The library welcomes visiting students from RMIT Australia

On April 1st, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming more than 60 students and staff from RMIT Melbourne to our Saigon South campus. Their visit focused on exploring our library and campus spaces as part of a project aimed at reimagining student and staff spaces in the library.
