Access both online and physical resources as an RMIT University alumni.

As an alumnus, you can use the postal loan service to borrow library books from home or work. RMIT University Vietnam's libraries offer a delivery service of books and journals to your home or workplace. 

Service fees

Loaned library books and journals are posted to alumni for free. However, alumni are responsible for returning the books and journals back to the library. You may choose to return items in person, or deliver/post the borrowed items at your own cost. 

Loan periods and renewals

Alumni initial loan periods last for one month, and you are entitled to one renewal if the item is not reserved by any other user. You may renew your loans before the due date.

Please remember that it is your responsibility to return materials by the due date. Penalties apply for overdue, damaged or lost items.

If you cannot return items on time, please contact the library as soon as possible.

Postal times

  • Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi: 1 - 2 working days (approximately)
  • Other cities and provinces: 2 - 5 working days (approximately)
  • We aim for a one-week turnaround time for loans out of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. However, this may not always be possible.

How to make a request

  • Step 1: Search and select item(s) from library collection at
  • Step 2: Reserve item(s) (optional)
  • Step 3: Email with the following details, or fill in this request form
    • S-number
    • Full name
    • Phone number
    • Detailed Address (as detailed as possible)
    • List of library materials including title, author, edition and URL
  • Step 4: Confirm when you receive your library materials (books, DVDs) via email
  • Step 5: Return library materials to the library in a timely manner (make sure that the delivery arrives before the due date)
