Transdisciplinary educator at the intersection of Advertising and Design, with a research emphasis on Higher Education, Nation Branding, and Advertising. He is currently working at RMIT University, Vietnam as a lecturer at the School of Communication and Design.

Dr Soumik Parida’s background includes working with State & Central Governments, Academia, Start-ups, NGO's, and advertising agencies.  He has worked on some of the most prestigious brands in India. His research interest includes Nation branding, Soft culture, Product placements, and Intercultural higher education. He holds a PhD from The University of Southampton (UK). He also holds an Associate Fellowship with the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) in the United Kingdom and has over 11 years of collective experience in the industry and higher education. He has worked in India, China, United Kingdom and Vietnam.
