Expert comment on Vietnam’s economic outlook

Professor Christophe Schinckus from RMIT Vietnam’s School of Business & Management is available to comment on Vietnam’s economic outlook.

Professor Schinckus holds a PhD in Financial Economics from the University of Paris Pantheon-Sorbonne (2009), and has recently published a book on social finance, behavioural finance and econophysics (physics applied to finance).

On Vietnam’s economic outlook, Professor Schinckus says “Vietnam is one of Asia’s best performing economies. Everything suggests that this situation will continue for a couple of years due to the combination of several elements.”

According to Professor Schinckus, demographics, strong consumer demand, a robust manufacturing sector, growth in tourism, and healthy international demand for the country’s exports are all factors which contribute to Vietnam’s positive economic outlook.
