How newbies find belonging at RMIT

New RMIT Vietnam undergraduate students recently documented the first moments of their university life in the inaugural My First University Project.

The competition offered new students opportunities to make friends and get a taste of project and team work at university level. Importantly, the project helped students feel a sense of belonging to their new university community.

Thirteen teams from Hanoi and Saigon South campuses participated in the four-week creative competition, exploring topics such as where to eat on campus, the difference between university and high school life, and the very first moments of university life.

The winning entry from Saigon South campus is SMARTIE food, a video about all the best places to eat and drink on campus. The entry was submitted by Tran Tan Thien, Pham Nguyen Dang Khoa, Nguyen Ngoc Le Chi, and Lai Minh Chieu.
