Join us in an artificial intelligence workshop

The workshops provide a real classroom experience for individuals with fundamental knowledge in programming, engineering and information technology.

Discover how AI is involved in autonomous robot navigation and spatial awareness through hands-on activities with the NAO robot and AWS DeepRacer vehicles. Learners will get to develop essential programming skills by using coordinates and path planning to operate robots autonomously, a vital skill for AI professionals across diverse industries.

Artificial intelligence has a myriad of uses across industries, including the ability of AI algorithms to analyse and extract insights from big data. Dr. Vinh Dang will lead participants through some of the issues facing big data today and provide strategies for AI data analysts to manage large and complex data sets effectively.

  • Project stream: Partake in a practical and applicable AI project with either an industry partner or your current workplace to build experience
  • Research stream: Choose a specific interest for concentrated study and deliver a minor thesis. This opens pathways for more research as well as to a PhD program.
